10. SU-30 Family (SU-30/34/35)
The current variants the Su-30, 34, 35 will form the backbone of the Russian Air Force for next few decades. The main strengths of these fighters are their exceptionally long range and large payload.

8. Aircraft Carrier
Russia plans to launch a multipurpose aircraft carrier about the size of the U.S. Navy Nimitz carriers. The carrier would carry 80 to 90 aircraft and a crew of 4,000 to 5,000
7. Armata T-14 Tank
The Armata unveiled in 2014 with features improved armor including underneath to protect it from land mines. Its high-tech shield may include sensors that can detect incoming rounds and automatically fire at them to knock them off target.
6. Anti-Satellite Missile
Russians have created a missile dedicated to shooting down America’s satellites. Called the “Nudol,” this satellite has the rocket power to break through the atmosphere and destroy targets orbiting the planet.
5. Sukhoi SU 57
The Sukhoi’s SU 57 is Russia’s 5th generation fighter jet. It can come to a full stop in mid-air and hover there like a UFO. This is extremely useful in dogfighting because it enables the plane to dodge missiles and get itself into a firing position on other planes with ease.
4. Hypersonic Missiles
Russia’s newest missile, called the Zircon will be ready for service very soon. This missile is capable of speeds of up to Mach 6, which are very hard to track and destroy. Hypersonic missiles can be used to intercept nuclear warheads.
3. Stealth Strategic Bomber
Russia is the only country other than the US to possess long-range strategic bombers. Russian aircraft maker Tupolev has built the first full-sized model of its next-generation strategic stealth bomber known as PAK DA.
2. YASEN CLASS Submarine
The Yasen class submarine having weight of 13,800 ton holds the distinction of being the most heavily armed attack submarine in the world.
1. Air Defense System
The Russian military is testing the first prototypes of its next-generation S-500 surface-to-air missile system. S500 response time is only 3 to 4 seconds in comparison to S-400 nine to ten seconds.
